Our 18th original musical honors Pirata Cofresi (~1825) -- the last pirate of the Caribbean and Robin Hood of Puerto Rico -- who stole Island riches back from the Spanish galleons and shared them with the poor.

With climate change in progress and the coronavirus affecting the world, we are living through an unparalleled time. Generations ago, Indigenous elders prophesied that the destruction of the EarthÂ’s environment would result in the arrival of new illnesses for which there was no medicine. Every day we witness how the lethal ways man treats Nature is manifesting in humanity!

Our Ancestors knew that living in relationship with Ataabey / Mother Earth was important. Today, many worry about the Earth. From their homes they recycle, but they never step outside to truly develop a relationship. Recycling, as an example, is important but the real key is healing the rift between man and the Earth -- through RELATIONSHIP.

Join Taino and Friends as we share why healing our relationship with Nature is important. We will share personal experiences, as well as ideas on how you can build a connection to the Earth.

BRING YOUR MARACA, presentation includes Taino music!
    Special guest presenters include:

As Within, So Without (The Kybalion) -- this universal truth is more timely than ever. We can rethink our lifestyle and reduce our footprint on the Earth. But they are like taking medicine to alleviate the symptoms.

Fixing humanity's relationship with the Earth is really the heart of it.

Our presentation is sponsored in part by the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
