Puerto Rican Folkoric Dance invites you to Sembrando Herencia 2003 -- an exciting performance of traditional music and dance that passes on a heritage to a new generation!
Join the Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance performing company of dancers and musicians as we share the stage with participants of our performing arts programs. This full-length production presents more than 50 of our own, in a lively celebration of Spanish, Taino and West African roots.
Celebrate the "Faces of Christmas" as this joyful performance
takes you on a journey through Puerto Rico's favorite christmas
traditions. Enjoy the premier of new dances and estampas --
"Navidad Yaucano" from the mountains, "Plena en Belen," and
"Bomba en el Mar." Cheer loudly for the debut of our own
"Coro de Angeles" Youth choir and our next generation of drummers.
