School Schedule and Holidays
The Puerto Rican Cultural Center's arts programs follow an academic (school-like) schedule.
Exceptions made as opportunities present themselves.
Happy to hear from you if you need more information. Our general schedule is as follows:
The Fall Semester typically begins mid August.
There are no student classes on:
- Labor Day Weekend (Monday)
- Thanksgiving Weekend
- Winter / Christmas Break (starting mid-Dec)
Spring Classes typically begin 2nd week of January.
There are no student classes on:
- Traditional Texas Spring Break (we often close 1 weekend)
- Memorial Day (Monday)
- Cultural Center closes for summer after June Festival until mid August
PRFDance Performing Company schedule depends on performance opportunities.
We hold the banner high for Puerto Rico everyday!
